Raffaele graduated from art college in 2004. Through many years his work developed from realistic representations, through an Impressionistic phase, and now it is semi-abstract. The reason his work is semi abstract is that mostly his references come from the reality of daily life. The abstract quality of his paintings is accentuated by his vivid harmonious use of colour and the movement of energy in his compositions. Some of these paintings are based on landscape and others on his interpretations of his inner feelings. For more information click here
