Susanne Leutenegger was born in Sankt Gallen Switzerland Having lived for some time in Switzerland, Great Britain, Italy and Germany she came to Cork in Ireland. Here she studied Fine Art at Crawford College of Art and Design where she graduated with distinction in 1987 After this established herself as an artist and co-founded an artists collective in Oldenburg North Germany. In 1994 she returned to Cork and works today from her studio at Backwater Artist's studios Wandsworth Quay, Cork Ireland. She lives with her husband and family in Fennels Bay.
