Pine Lodge is Myrtleville's local pub. It attracts many of the older residents but is mostly frequented by young people It is the most exciting live music venue this side of Cork City, with rock and blues bands and many internatiional and varied gigs. Sometimes Irish Traditional music is played in the bar on Sunday afternoon. It has a pool table with a juke box and gaming machine which are very popoular with the younger crowd.
